Let’s Reel In The Perfect Seafood.
So…what kind of seafood do they serve!? DELICIOUS! Seriously, it’s fantastic! When you dive into Crump’s Landing in Homosassa, Florida, seafood isn’t just a meal; it’s an experience! The menu is brimming with freshly caught delights—from flaky fish tacos that make your taste buds dance to succulent shrimp that redefine “shellfish” indulgence.

We LOVE boiled shrimp! Bring us a platter with a couple sweet teas and we are in a foodie paradise. FOR REAL! I can also say that we have had our fair share over the years. And, ONLY one seafood destination we’ve peeled our way through, has EVER taken the time to remove the AHEM…poop from these little fellas! Hats off to Crumps’ Landing for doing the dirty work.

Hooked For Life.
So…what else did we order!? Honestly, the whole menu looked awesome. Besides the freaking awesome boiled shrimp, we dove into the smoked seafood dip. It was perfectly smokey, spicy, and highly recommend adding their Florida hot sauce that is straight up “crack” in a bottle. Beware…a little goes a long way. I know first hand. I almost died scarfing it down on a cracker with my smoked fish dip.

Let’s take a moment to pause and reflect on the fried grouper…ahhhh…ok, I think I’m good! This fresh, light and flaky fried grouper is what seafood dreams are made of. Paired with the house chips, hush puppies, and tangy coleslaw you have the perfect seafood basket. I’m team cocktail sauce when it comes to seafood and this one ROCKED!

Because we are total foodies, we tend to order a variety. So, to round it out, we grabbed the Jerk chicken and shrimp bowl. Can I just again shout from the roof tops how much I appreciate the detail to removing shrimp poop!?
This yummy bowl came loaded with shrimp and chicken, yellow rice, black beans, and sautéed peppers finished with green onions. Sour cream was served on the side but you honestly don’t need it. The bowl was HUGE! So good. Both were definitely shareable!

PRO TIP- If ordering the Jerk and shrimp bowl, ask for the jerk sauce on the side and add the mango salsa that comes with the fish tacos to top it with. It adds a bit of cool and freshness to the bowl. Your taste buds will thank you!
The Sweeter Side of Crumps’ Landing.
The best seafood restaurants in Florida all have one thing in common- great Key Lime Pie! Whether it’s homemade or locally sourced, this sweet concoction is always on the menu. Crumps’ was no different. On today’s foodie adventure in Homosassa, Florida, we were craving something different.
Offering many different sweet options from key lime pie to pineapple upside down cake, it was a tough choice! I mean, who can resist a warm, buttery cake topped with pineapple!? Right!? Still…we were on a mission to indulge in a bit of crazy.

Pina Colada cheesecake anyone!? Ya’ll…angels sang from above with this sweet slice of heaven! Loaded with total pina colada vibes throughout this silky cheesecake, it was perfection!
It should be because we found out it was made by the infamous Florida bakery, Mike’s Pies. THAT’S a mike drop ya’ll. All I can say is that THIS cheesecake made THESE two foodie bellies smile!
Catch & Release The Perfect Seat.
What is unique about Crumps’ Landing, is the seating. With over 1000 ft of waterfront views, the sky’s the limit. Enjoy eating solo at the tiki bar or in the covered outdoor dining area.
