Being Florida Natives, MOST people assume you’ve seen and done it all. Truth!? Not even close! We get lulled into the same day trip destinations and adventures. But, today was different. We loaded up in the Hulasquatch to explore the wild side of Florida, its culinary delights, and maybe some local wildlife.
Homosassa: From Native Springs to Manatee Dreams.
Homosassa, Florida is a charming coastal town and the perfect escape for adventurers and foodies alike. Whether you’re paddling with manatees or chowing down on fresh seafood, Homosassa promises a day filled with excitement. (Monkey Island anyone!?)

What an excellent write up! We visited Homosassa and loved the underwater observatory at the wildlife park. The Freezer was the perfect seafood dive and Crumps Landing was a fantastic way to experience living like a local as it proved to be a favorite hangout spot for the locals in Citrus County.
